Marni, a highlight of the Milan Fashion Week calendar which is headed up by its founder, Consuelo Castiglioni, is to create a spring collection for both men and women, which will be released on March 8, 2012.Fans of the label can look forward to full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knits in an array of both African-inspired prints and softer colour blocks, at affordable price points.
The range will retail in 260 H&M stores worldwide as well as online, and sees Marni join the ranks of Lanvin, Versace, Karl Lagerfeld, Jimmy Choo, Matthew Williamson, Stella McCartney and Comme des Garçons - all of whom have designed ranges for H&M in the past.
